Here is a card I made for fun. I used my Spellbinders Hearts dies which i distressed inked. I cut out six and joined them together with a brad, then fanned them out to create this "flower". 3 gems on each petal. and my card is done. What do you think?

I have lots more to show you and will put up new posts this week so I hope you get the chance to check back.

Dienamics flower die

I had to show you this card. Yesterday in the post a received the Die-namics rolled flower die from my blogging friend Mary J. She said the flowers are a bit fiddly but I had a go anyway. They are a bit tricky but I am sure with practice I will get better. Here is my first attempt. You must check out Mary's blog as she makes wonderful cards and her flowers are lovely!

Ribbon and stamps bargain from Hobbycraft

It is fatal to have a Hobbycraft near to where I live!. Yesterday I got these ribbons. 70+ metres for £7. And what am I going to do with them? I have absolutely no idea!!!!!!! Any ideas?
Then I saw this Hampton Art Calender stamp set. I wanted these as soon as I saw them but didn't like the £20 price tag. So can you see me jumping up and down with excitement in the stamping aisle when I saw they were now half price? Actually I didn't show myself up too much. And what will I make with these? Well a calender , of course! But when? That is the question...........................
Hope all of you manage to find bargains too

Boxed anniversary card

Well it was back to school today. All the staff and children seem to be over the dreaded virus. But it was so cold, with fine hail falling too. Hope you have all had a good day back too.

Here is a card i made for some friends for their anniversary at the end of December. They don't like fussy so I hope this card is simple enough for them ( I couldn't help my self, I just HAD to add some flowers!)

The stamp is from Whiff of Joy and I coloured it with Prismas ( kindly given to me by Maggie one of the lovely ladies who comes to my card lessons. She tried them but didn't like them so offered them to me. She wouldn't have any money for them so I must sort out something for her. Maggie I hope you aren't reading this bit!)
I used my Go Kreate dies to make the card blank and mats. I made the box using my Martha Stewart score board. The sentiments are computer generated.
I hope you like it ....and I hope they do too!

Oh dear. Looking at all of your blogs I am a bit late with this. But as they say better late than never!
So here goes, my 10 fovourite cards of 2010.

1. I made this card in January. I love Tilda stamps. I used my Sizzix dies and embossing folders here.
2. Also in January this Whiff of Joy paper piecing card. I think I must be in my blue period!
3. January was obviously a creative month for me!. This card was made using the Letterpress.
4. Not a card but I covered a tissue box blank for my daughters room.
5. In February I made this Magnolia wedding card.
6. In April I made these magnolia canvases. I entered them into the Magnolia Ink competition. I didn't win but my blogging friend Samantha liked them so I made her one for her wedding.
 7. Here is a group of Gorjuss girls!!. i also happen to be on th DT of Totally Gorjuss.

8. In May I made this Sweet Pea easel card.

10. In July I made this retirement card for our Deputy Head at school.
11. Love was in the air in August.
 12. Do you remeber the story of Hugo in August? It still makes me laugh.

16. More flowers
17. November had a snowman with Tilda
18. Finally December saw Tilda cooking and some hand made soaps.

Well there you go. Some of my fave creations in 2010. As you can see I couldn't help myself and limit it to 10!!!!!.

Handmade warm scarf

Well I thought we were all on the mend in this household. I had the dreaded virus. then Mike had it. Last Night we were up at 2.30 with Emma. She was shivering but had a high temp at the same time. It took me back to when she was a toddler and she is 23 now!!!!!
We did a bit of shopping in Sainsbury's. Big mistake. It was manic!!!!!! Are the shops closed for a month????!!!!! You would think so. Anyway we got what we needed, we have friends over for tea tonight.
Here is something else I made. A warm, fluffy scarf. Actually it took me months to make as I was knitting it at night. I usually make cards or some other project during the evening and was very reluctant to give up card making time for knitting time!
Anyway I am glad I have made it as it is so warm.
Have any of you knittred anything recently? I would love to see what you have made
Speak to you next year!

My hand made soaps

A mixture of Lavender and Coconut soaps

All wrapped up
My goodness I seem to have had a creative streak these past few weeks. I have several projects to show over the next week or so. Today I am showing you the hand made soaps I made. The people I gave them too loved them.
They are so easy to make. I have bought some more ingredients!
I am entering this into Samantha's blog candy.
