Howzat!

 
I hope you are all well. I really don't like this cold weather though.
I want to say a quick "hello" to 2 of the girls who come to my Tuesday class. They don't have blogs but have started to follow me by subscribing to my blog via email.

So "Hi Karen and Jane". I call these 2 my naughty girls!!!! I have to keep them separate!!. Seriously though we have a great time on Tuesday afternoons and it is lovely when we have "show and tell" at the beginning to see what everyone has made in the week. It really is great to see how everyone is progressing.

On to my card for today

I have done a boys card using this lovely LOTV stamp. I have kept it minimum. I don't think the male of the species like all the embellies us girls like!

Also, I feel I am being a bit cheeky here, but I have spoken about this to some of my blogging friends.
How would you feel if I was to ask for a contribution towards the postage for these larger candy wins, say £2.They have been costing me about £5+ to post. I realise that this may put people of entering but with the economy the way it is I love to give stuff away but the cost is getting a bit out of hand. Perhaps you can leave a comment about this in the comment box and please feel free to be as honest as you want

It is my first ( and probably my last!) attempt at colouring on Kraft. My only excuse(s) is that it was late at night, not good light and I was tired!!!!!  I think I need a lot more practice at this.

 This is a card  made recently. It is shame you can't really see the beautiful backing cardstock I used. It is embossed band glittery, really lovely. I used a Magnolia Banner stamp and stamped "Just Because" on it.

 The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts

Notebook - custom order on my Etsy shop

 I have been busy making a customised notebook that was ordered in my Etsy shop,

This one was a challenge as the customer wanted a particular image ( drawn by her boyfriend ) on the cover and instead of plain sheets inside she wanted another hand drawing on each page but light enough so that she can write on the page.

I hope she will like what I have done.

For a change....a boys card

 Well I was in card making mode Friday night and made several cards. This is one using an image I had coloured ages ago (I have several coloured images in a box just waiting to be made into cards)

Brrrr it is so cold.  I think I NEED to make cards just to keep my fingers warm!!!!
