This is a card i made for inspiration for my card class.

I used Sizzix bird die which i cut from board i bought at Hobbycraft. Then i stamped with Stampin Up Dictionary stamp.

Birdcage cards

 These are 2 cards i made using the Xcut Birdcage 3 die. They are available at Crafty Devils

I coloured the cages with Distress Inks. The leaves were cut from a Sizzix die and i added a selection of flowers and gems to give the cards a bit of bling!

I used this die in my card classes and it proved VERY popular.

Tomorrow i will show you some wedding invites i made with a bride- to- be and her bridesmaids using the Xcut Birdcage  1 die

4oth Anniversary card....and what do you think of the new Blogger~~!!##!!

This was the other card choice I made for my friend who requested a Ruby Anniversary card.
She chose yesterdays card although she did like both.

What do you think of this new Blogger? I don't like it at all. I clicked on something thinking it was a preview and suddenly everything is changed for good! Why do they have to change things. If it isn't broken.......

At the garden gate

 This is a card  made recently. It is shame you can't really see the beautiful backing cardstock I used. It is embossed band glittery, really lovely. I used a Magnolia Banner stamp and stamped "Just Because" on it.

 The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts

Embossed anniversary card

Good evening

Here is a card I made for a commission. I was asked to make an anniversary card for a couple celebrating their 51st Anniversary. I know they like fairly simple things, nothing too fussy.

I used the Xcut cut and emboss aperture die. You can use it in your Big Shot but you will find you need to add a couple of pieces of card too so that it will cut succesfully

The flowers ( apart from the cream one ) were from a bargain flower bag from Samuel Taylors at the NEC. I wish I had bought more!!!! Thec leaves were cut with  a Martha Stewart punch

If you look closely you can see i have spread Stickles over the wings so that they shimmer

I cut the butterfly out twice with a MS punch. The top layer is half of the butterfly. It was then edged with Vintage Photo distress ink

The flowers are from my stash and the image coloured with Promarkers

Totally Gorjuss Dt card and my poorly Dad

My dad went into hospital as an emergency with a severe water infection on Monday.  2 lots of antibiotics failed over the past few weeks. He has been so unwell going to bed at 4;30 p.m. Aches, pains, very high blood pressure. He went in as emergency at 10:am on Monday and was still sitting on a chair in the corridor at 11:30PM as there was no bed.!!!!! He is 85! And he hadn't been given anything to eat since 12:00. He has had antiobiotics injected via a drip  every day since Monday and is feeling a lot better. Just doesn't seem right does it. He came out yesterday. He has suffered with these problems for anout 15 years and they have now discovered that he has Ecoli!!!! and has probably had it for 15 years. Hopefully this strong medication will sort him out.Any more problems and he has to go straight into hospital and on the drip/medication again.
Anyway here is my DT card for Totally Gorjuss. This week you have to use a Gorjuss girl on your card. Very nervous knowing who is sponsoring this week, Suzanne Woolcott. Hope you like it.

Sorry I am late with this. I am fit and well now and, hopefully, back on track.
This week at Totally Gorjuss the theme is SWEET so it will be interesting to see how you interpret it. The DT have done some great cards.

I have coloured Tilda with Promarkers which you can buy here.
I have also added Glossy Accents to the flowers and the ice lolly. My papers are Papermania Signature collection and the flowers from my stash.
