TGF 12 Days of Sketches - Day 1

I was listening to the weather yesterday when they said no more snow and guess what? I looked outside and it was SNOWING!!!!! Do they ever get it right?

Anyway have you heard about the challenge at TGF - 12 sketches for 12 days?
I have done sketches 1 and 2 so far. They are really great to work with and you should see some of the entries. Unbelievable. Don't know why I'm entering then.
Below is sketch 1 and also some pics of my garden with the snow that wasn't coming!!!!

Just Magnolia challenge week 25 - Flowers

Let's try again. THIS is my entry for the Just Magnolia challenge and this time (please see my last post) I have definitely added a hand made flower!!

The images are from the latest Magnolia Yummy Tummy range which I have coloured with Promarkers and then distressed with Rangers Distress inks. I have masked one stamp over another . If you don't know how to do this I have put a tutorial on my side bar. I have used my Nesties to cut the red strips on the left hand side which I have then sanded. The flower was made from three sizes of the Retro flower punch and these pieces were sanded too. The paper is My Minds Eye and finally I have added a bit of bling. I'm really pleased with this. Not too much and not too little. What do you think?

Just Magnolia - week 22 embossing

I had some of the new " my minds eye" papers and couldn't wait to use them.
For my entry to Just Magnolia this week i have used this cute Tilda stamp which i have coloured with Promarkers. I have included a photo of the colours I used. I have used my Nesties, Rectangles, Labels and nested flower.
The 'brads' are candy dots. I have basically kept to 2 colours, green and orange.
The theme was embossing and there were several sheets of embossed papers in the 'My minds eye' pack.
Sorry that one photo is sideways. I don't know how to rotate it yet!!!
Please let me know what you think of it.
