 I have been on a card making frenzy recently. Here is another card I made.

 I have used another SC image which I coloured with PM's.

I used a variety of die cuts and a stamp I bought at the NEC.

I think i might put up some blog candy this week!!!!!!

Plain and simple

Here is a card i made with my class on Saturday.

I was inspired by a card i saw on Pinterest.

I cut a piece of card the same size as the card blank, then cut a circle aperture out of the centre. I then stamped the music stamp through this. I overstamped the flowers and the word Hope. How simple is that?

Not Square

Happy Saturday everyone,

 

Today sees a new challenge at Totally Gorjuss.  Our theme is

Not Square.

So for this week only put away your square cards. I have used one of my Go Kreate dies to create my DT card for this week.

I have also used another die to cut out the plate stand to stand the card on.

I have used one of the gorgeous Saturated Canary images. I don't usually use light greens in my card but i loved the papers in this stack  ( First Edition by Trimcraft) 

I added flowers and die cuts to finish my card and i coloured the image with Promarkers.

  Here is a card i made recently. I haven't made any boys cards in ages. I kept to true boys colours, blues!

Rings

This week in jewellery class  our topic was rings. I showed my ladies how to make these very easy beaded rings. You can adapt them just by using a different type of bead.

Hi everyone

Here are a couple of cards i made with my ladies yesterday.

We used this gorgeous stamp that i bought at the NEC. I used Pan Pastels, of course and added Stickles.

That was how we did the first card.

On the second card I added a leaf stamp around the edge . hence my post title, with or without.

Which one do you prefer?

Easy card

Here is a card I made with one of the stamps I bought at the NEC recently. I teamed it up with some papers from Papermania and added a bit of Stickles.

I stamped the wording in 2 colours for a change.

The stamps are ones i bought at the NEC last weekend.

After stamping the image i swiped some Pan Pastels over it and then added some Stickles, which doesn't really show up on the pics .

Unforgettable moments

 This is the card i made for my friends who have just celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary

 I made an 8 x 8 Easel card. The image is coloured with Promarkers.

 I added flowers and seam binding.

Silver wedding anniversary card

 

 

 

This is a commissioned card i made for a friend to give to his wife for thier 25th weedding Anniversary this week. He gave me some ideas of what he wanted. I wanted it to look elegant and i hope i have acheived that. i made a matching box too.

Also these are some of the place setting cards i made for their annivesary meal. We had a lovely evening.

Little blessings

Here is a card i made with Pan Pastels again!. I will do some other stuff, promise.

I just love they way they blend. I added some stickles to the edge of the card and to the flourishes and then some Liquid Pearls to the stems. This is a very quick and easy card to make.

Anything goes at Totally Gorjuss

Can't believe i forgot to put up my post with my Totally Gorjuss DT card

1 stamp, 2 cards

 I have used this set of stamps in classes recently. I like to show how you can be versatile with stamps so here are 2 very different ways of using the stamps.

Here is a sympathy card I have made for a friend who lost her husband recently.

I used Black Pan Pastels and stamps.

For this card I stamped the flower and leaves on patterned paper and cut it out. I stamped around the edge with the flower stamp too.

Pan Pastels card

I have been so busy clearing out my craft cupboards i haven't had much time to be creative. But for a couple of weeks i have been showing my class how to use Pan Pastels on their cards.

This card was made using a set of rose stamps which i masked. The background was coloured with 2shades of Pan Pastels. They are available at Hotshot craft at the special price of £4.98 plus free posting..

I used a normal rubber to erase any Pan Pastel that had gone over the roses, so this left the roses white. Lastly i added a bit of Stickles to the roses.

Using Dies

At Totally Gorjuss this week we want you to use you punches and dies.

I have used a Sizzix set of stamps and Dies. I taught this method in my card classes this week. You simply layer up the die cuts to creat a 3D frame. i wish i had taken pictures of the card my ladies made. They all used the same method but all cards were so different. They were wonderful.
