Hello everyone. We have had a lovely card session this afternoon doing black and white cards using black pencils. It is very relaxing and gives quite a nice effect. My ladies all made wonderful cards and they were very pleased with how they turned out.
Above are a few cards I have made this week.
Last night i made up 109 favor boxes for a wedding I am doing. I will post them at a later date'

Flowers for you

Here is a card a made a while ago for a teacher who retired and I don't think I ever posted it on my blog. It is a digital image that I resized. I coloured with Promarkers and added some Glossy Accents. I used a button that I threaded the netting through.

IDEA! If you have little girls with dressing up clothes that are no good any more, before throwing the clothes away check for netting, ribbons, buttons etc that you could recycle for your cards!

The weather here in Wolverhanpton is wonderful! In fact I have washed the car and cleaned the windows since I got home from school 2 hours ago. I don't know what has got into me.I think I need a rest!!!!!!

An old fashioned look

Good morning to all of you

I have used one of the new Forever Friends Olden days stamps. It just called out to me to be coloured in black pencils. I have teamed it up with black and white check paper a little bit of vintage style lace a few flat back pearls and sentiment and there it is. A quick and easy card. It took me approx 10 minutes. ( better than a recent card that took me about 3 hours!) I did have everything to hand at the beginning though.

Say it with flowers

Hello to every one. It is my day off from school today and I am about to start the housework!
But here is a quick post and card I have made using one of the "cute squares" by LOTV. This was from a pack sent to me by the lovely Dawny from Pink Piggy. Thank you Dawny.

I have added Stickles to her wings and brushed it over the area to give a glitter shimmer. The "cute square" has been edged with distress inks

The Stickles that was still on my brush was then brushed over the flowers to give them a subtle shimmer

The mat of pink cardstock was distressed with a sanding block. The leaves were edged slightly with Distress inks

As promised here are the rest of the cards I made as samples for Sarah at Hotshotcrafts. They were part of my 30 cards in one afternoon - evening challenge!. I made more cards for her yesterday which I will post later this week but I only had to make 18 this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everthing used is available from Hotshotcrafts

Good morning everyone. I hope you are all warmer than me. It is quite cold here in Wolverhampton. But it is worse in my house as I have no hot water or central heating. My boiler broke down, again a few days ago and hopefully the man is coming to fix it today. He was only here 3 weeks ago for the same problem. I might as well fix him up a room! I am aslo having internet problems so I am blogging now while I have the chance.

Another marathon card making session

hope you are all well and enjoying the spring weather
Last week I made 20 cards for Sarah at Hotshotcrafts. Below are some pictures of the lovely hunkydory window card kits. The photos dont do any justice as in real life they are really very effective. They are available at Hotshotcrafts now

Yesterday sarah asked me to make some cards for the show at Glasgow this week. I started at 4:pm and finished at 1 minute to midnight!  30 cards made!!!!!1 There was decoupage, Stamping and colouring and My kitchen looked as if a whirlwind had hit it. Over the next couple of days I will post some of the pics of nthe cards. All items used are available at Hotshotcrafts

Thank you to for all who enquired about the Big Shots I had for sale. they vare now sold but if anyone still wants one or any of the dies please email me and I can arrange payment and shipping ( UK only)
