How are you? Tilda Magnolia card

Here is a card I made recently. Instead of "get well" or" best wishes" the sentiment is" How are you?"

I have used this gorgeous Tilda image.

Items used:
Colouring - Copics
Flowers, Wild Orchid
Sentiment - computer generated
Butterfly - Martha Stewart
Border punch - Martha Stewart
DP - Wild Rose Studio
Ribbon
Stickles

I didn't have enough of the DP to finish of the inside so I just did a panel with the matching border

Do you think this would cheer someone up?

Thank you for looking and your comments . I love to read them

Lily of the Valley boys card

Here is a card I have made using this gorgeous Lily of the Valley stamp "sailing" It has been ages since I made a little boys card and I loved making this one.
When I saw this image it reminded me of my son when he was little! He is now nearly 21. So making this card brought back lovely memories for me

The buttons were made with a MS punch. It cuts and embosses the button.

I have decorated the inside of the card to match.
I think I will make a few more boy cards. It is a nice trip down memory lane!

Anniversary card

Good morning to all of you. It is a lovely spring morning here. Sunshine. How wonderful.

First if any of you are interested I have several Brand new Sizzix dies on Ebay ( you can click on the links on the left in my side bar. It will allow you to see my other items too) I also have several Brand new dies that are reduced in price. e.g. Some Dies, like the scoreboards are £5 cheaper than original price!

Today I am showing you a card I made for one of my ladies a few weeks ago when it was her wedding annivesary.
The frame was some cheap cardboard cut outs that I distressed and stamped. The fern is a Leone Em punch ( very hard to use. I had to put it on the floor and stand on it to punch out the leaves. At last being overweight has some benefits!!!!!). The image was coloured with Distress Inks.

Don't forget to leave your comment to be in with a chance to win this months candy

The pearls were salvaged from a bouquet of flowers I was given!

Baby cards

Hello everyone in blogland
I had 2 lovely card classes  yesterday.I thought i would show you some of the Baby cards we were making in the first session.
I used the Sizzix baby romper die. I cut it out of K & Co double sided cardstock, Tim Holotz Vintge Shabby, and the red one out of card that was coloured on just one side.
With the red romper I embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder 3/4 of the way up the romper. The message is from a Cuttlebug die. On the others i have used MS border punches, Sizzlets letterv dies, buttons etc. On the last one i embossed "little bundle" and sanded it slightly and cutb it out with Nesties.
I think these are a nice change to ordinary baby cards. i hope you like them too

Just Magnolia - punch it out

After having massive computer problems I am at last able to post my entry for Just Magnolia - punch it out.
I have used one of my new Spring collection Tilda's, which came this week. I have colured her with Promarkers. My papers are Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby, which I love.. The postcard is a stamp I bought at the NEC. The card I stamped it on was white but I colored it with Distress inks and the message behind Tilda is a Tim Holtz stamp I bought reduced.! I have used my Martha Stewart border punch and Leone Em leaf punch. The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. They have a bit of glampur dust on them.
I am really pleased with how this card has turned out and wish the photos were better.
Have a good evening

MoJo Madness 107 contest

Good afternoon everyone. First 2 lots of good news.

1. My son Daniel, as regular followers will know passed his A level Art with an 'A' this summer, is to be awarded a prize at the Schools Presentation evening at the end of October at Walsall Town Hall. The Art Award is only given to one pupil per year and he is to receive it. As you can imagine we are very proud of him.
2. I have been asked to be on the DT of a new challenge blog called Totally Gorjuss.
I'm really looking forward to that.
Now on to my entry for the Mojo Madness contest.
There was a sketch to follow and I have used a Tilda sitting a on a knife and fork ( as you do!!!) image coloured with Promarkers.
What do you think?

Dare you 2 dig challenge #22

Second post of the day
I have been feeling a bit down the last few days. Fortunately I still had some interest in my card making, although it took me longer than normal to do anything. I made this little bag which I thought I could enter into the DY2D challenge. The box is very easy to make., especially if you have a scorepal.
The challenge requires a digi image, which I have used from Digistamp Boutique, formally Grabadoodledo. This has been coloured with Promarkers. The die cut/ Punch shapes are the Oval Nesties I used for the image and it's mat and the punching on the lid and handle. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for this. I aged the box slightly with distress inks. The handle is held in place with brads.

These bags are so easy to make

TIP... Make a batch of blank boxes in various colours ready to decorate when needed.

You may see more of these on my blog. I just hope you don't get fed up of them.
If you make one please send me a picture of it.
