Exciting news, and more cards

Another glorious day weather wise.
My exciting news is that CJ at Cowgirls Sunday Challenge has asked me to join her DT!!!! Do check out her blog and shop Loads of great images there to play with.

Happy Monday to all of you. Hope you all had a good weekend. Did you watch the football? I'm not into it but I did watch the England match. I felt so sorry for the England goalie.

I have used Tim Holtz papers, Copics and Nestabilities to make this card.The sentiments were cut using a Sizzix die.
If you haven't visited Natalies blog you really must. She has some great images to use and the DT have made some brilliant cards too.

Also I received an award from Lyndsey  Thank you Lyndsey for thinking of me.  You need to tell everyone 6 things about yourself that aren't true and one thing that is true. I will leave you to guess which is the truthful bit!!!!  So here goes

1. I have the perfect figure
2. I always tell my husband when I buy new craft goodies, shoes or handbags
3. I  always keep to the speed limit
4. I always do my housework before I make any cards
5. I never eat chocolate in secret

Chi Chi Memories DT card

Natalie at Chi Chi Memories sent me this lovely image which you can get here:

 Instead of making a card I thought I would make a gift bag, or very fancy sandwich bag!!
I coloured the image with Promarkers matted it onto some cardstock with the corners punched with MS punch. The top of the bag is cut from a Sizzix die and folded in half and then I attached 2 Hearts cut from the Sizzix Primitive hearts die.

Chi Chi Memories DT card

Good Morning everyone. hope you all had a good weekend.
Here is my DT card for Chi Chi Memories. Natalie sent me the "Elephant Love" image.You can buy this here. Isn't it cute? I coloured it with Promarkers and cut around it. I made an easel card which I covered with The New Papermania Hamstead papers. I used a Martha Around the Page punch set and the "sorry" sentiment was cut out using my new Tim Holtz Vintage Market die. You can buy it here.
I quite like the bolder colours

Chi Chi Memories DT card

I hope you all had a good weekend. The weather has been great ....so far!

We had test week at school last week so it's back to normal work this week!!!!! Roll on the 6 weeks holidays!!!!!
Here is my second DT card for Chi Chi Memories.
The stamp Natalie has given me to work with is "Hugs" which you can buy here
It is such a sweet image. I have coloured with Promarkers. My paper is from Papermania's Henbury Lane. The border is Martha Stewart and the sentiment Craftwork Cards. Being a digital image you can resize it to any size you like which is great. I do hope you like it.

My first DT card for Chi Chi Memories

Well here it is my first DT card for Chi Chi Memories.

I have made this card following Natalies sketch for this week

These are the stamps I used lhttp://www.chichimemories.com/digital-stamp-set---baby-flower-collection.html

 To create this card these are the items I used

• K & Co - papers
• DCWV textured card stock. One piece was cut with a Nestie and the other embossed with a cuttlebug and sanded
• the image was coloured with Promarkers - Ivory, satin, blush, leaf green, apple, sandstone, cinnamon, cool aqua and denim blue
• 3 flat backed gems.

Chi Chi Memories is quite a new blog so I do hope you will visit it and join in the challenges....oh and don't forget to check out the fab digital images too
I would certainly appreciate any feedback as this is different to my normal style
