Fizzy Moon samples

OOh it is so cold here. I don't do cold!!!!!

That's the moaning over.  So far I have made 85 cards  for Hotshot Crafts since Friday. I thought I had finished.....silly me....of course I hadn't. I forgot I still had 20 bunting cards to do......... No housework again!

I have 2 samples to show you that I have made with one of the new Fizzy Moon stamps that are now available at Hotshot Crafts ( if you can't find them in the web shop yet just ring them and they will sort it out for you)

The first card has been coloured with Promarkers. I have also added clear glittery Atyou Spica pens on the flowers and vases. You can't see it on the photo...but it is there!.
The DP is Portobello Road

The second card has been coloured with H, B, Hb2 and HB4 pencils.   I made the flowers from a die and added MS punched leaves.

Keep warm and safe

Vintage style wedding card

This is the other wedding card I had to make on Friday evening. Yesterday card was for my M and F in law. This card was for my SIL.  IT was her friend who got married and all I was told was that she wanted a vintage style card.

So I made an easel card and used a LOTV image (gorgeous). I used my distress inks, MS punch, flowers from Wild Orchid and sentiment is a Magnolia stamp. I alsom added a pull out tag in a pocket but forgot to photo it!
Sorry the quality of the photos are so bad
have a good day
Hugs Sarah

Totally Gorjuss DT card

Good Morning/afternoon
This week at Totally Gorjuss our theme is CONGRATULATIONS. So we are looking forward to seeing your lovely cards. The DT have made some great cards as usual so do check them out.
I have used a stamp from Funky Kits which I have coloured with Promarkers. I can't remember whose papers I used. The edging is Martha Stewart border punch. It is a very quick and simple card this time as I have been very limited on crafting time this week. Now I have the 6 weeks holidays I can be more adventurous!

Yet another exploding box!

Good morning everyone
I was asked to make yet another exploding box for a wedding tomorrow by the brides mother. The colour theme is black, white and fuschia pink!. I was given free run on this one although I was told the groom loves cars. So here is what I came up with. I have photos of each layer of the box before I assembled it and then the final box itself. The brides sister saw it yesterday and I loved it. I just hope the bride and groom like it too!

My First DT card for Cowgirl -Up Stamps

Hope you all had a great weekend.
Well here is my first DT card for Cowgirls Sunday Challenge where the theme is "Scallops and embellishments"
The DT have all made wonderful cards. We have all used images from CJ's shop. I have used the Watering can Image which you can buy here. It is only $1.75 or approx. £1.15. And of course because it is a digital image you can resize it, flip it etc.
I have coloured mine with Copics which you can buy here at Hotshotcrafts.I have also added Glossy Accents over the flowers which you can also buy at Hotshotcrafts. I have added some pink netting which i fed through the back of a pearl button which I bought from  The Hobby House. Here is my list of ingredients
  • Paper and cardstock - DCWV and Basic Grey
  • Digital image - Cowgirls digital stamp
  • Netting
  • Pearl Button - The Hobby House
  • Martha Stewart punch

I hope you like it. It is going to be used as a leaving card for one of the teachers who is retiring. I still have another 2 retirement cards to make so as soon as I have done them i will post pictures.
Thanks for all the comments you leave.
The sponsor for this weeks challenge is Crafty Ribbons

At last I have had the chance to do some challenges. Here is the card I have made for Sketch Saturday
I have coloured a Hanglar and Stanglar image with Copics. The papers are the new Hamstead collection by Papermania. These are Linen effect and are Gorgeous!. The other cardstock is from a DCWV stack, some of which I have embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The loopy border is Martha Stewart ( well not her literally!) The sentiment is from Cardwork crafts.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you get the chance to leave a comment.

Totally Gorjuss DT card #31

Well it is challenge #31 at Totally Gorjuss this week. And we want Bling, Bling, Bling!!!!!So Bling it on!!!!!!!

The DT have done some great cards so check them out
I have used  an image sent to me by my blogging friend Samantha. Hi Sweetie/ The lacey ribbon is also from her. I have used papers from my stash. The hearts are from my new Sizzix die Primitive hearts. These are a fantastic shape and can you believe they are now discontinued. A big mistake I think. You can buy it here. I cut the hearts from matboard and coloured them with 3 shades of Promarkers. The image was edged with a Martha Stewart punch. Finally I added gems to the flower centers, loopy bits on the image and on the heart. By the way the gems were rhinestones which I coloured yellow with my Promarkers. I look forward to reading your comments if you have the time
Have a lovely Saturday

50th Anniversary card

Good evening
what a yucky day. It has rained most of the day and was sooooo cold. How foolish did I look at school? I was dressed as if it was summer!!!!!! nOh well i never seem to do the normal things.
Here is card I was asked to make for a 50th anniversary. They didn't want a traditional gold card and I knew the recipients loved flowers. So this is what i came up with.
I used my MS punches and Nesties. My flowers were from Wild Orchid crafts.
Have a good weekend

The border I made with my MS punch.

Black and white topiary tree

This is a little project I made recently. I had the idea to make a topiary tree to put in my bedroom which is black and white.
First I bought a terracotta flower pot with fake soil and grass from Hobbycrafts

Then I painted it with acrylic paint first then Distress Crackle paint

The paint will crackle as it dries. You can spray clear varnish over it at this point.

I painted a polystyrene ball with Acrylic paint and a bamboo skewer with black Promarker.

I punched out flowers from black and white papers, and black leaves with a MS punch. I attached these to the polystyrene with wires that had pearls on the end (floristry section of Hobbycrafts) . Finally I added twists of fine wire to it.
And there you have it. A very quick and easy table decoration
