These are some of the invites I made

As a surprise I included two boxes that I put the invites in. I thought Kate could use the boxes for her acceptance cards or any little souvenir from the wedding.

This is how the favour boxes started off. you can see the finished products if you click here

Well that is it for Wedding #1. I have nearly finished wedding #2, Emma's. I have nearly finished the 90 place cards and I just have the Table Plan to do.

I hope you have liked looking at this and hope you will like what I did for Emma's to. I will post these later this week
have a good day

Apologies if you have seen this before

I was looking through some old pics of cards I had made and came across this one  made for a teacher who retired last year. I can't remember if I did a blog post on this before so If I did, Apologies
The image was one I downloaded and then I made the image bigger ( the card size was 8x8). I also decoupaged it.
I hope you like it.
Tomorrow I will show the table plan I have completed for Wedding #1

The name place cards for the other wedding are all done and the Table Plan done is almost finished. I still have Emma's place cards and Table Plan to make. We have spent the last 4 weeks at her new house fitting a new kitchen, which has been a nightmare. Every evening from 6pm till late!!!! I never want to see a kitchen again!!!! It has taken over my crafting time!!!!!!!!!!

I have also been making up some more Kanban samples which will be on show at the Doncaster show next weekend. If you are going please come over and say hello. I will be on the Hotshot Crafts stand on Saturday.

Hugs to all of you

Small notelets and favour boxes update

Hi
here are a few notelets I made recently. I am thinking of making a box for them and giving them as a gift.

I have been busy making the favour boxes for Emma s wedding on the 23rd. I have made 79 boxes so far, only 11 to go ( although I will make about another 10 extras)

I am also making the place card settings for the other wedding on the same day. They are all printed and all the floor to let the ink dry!

Must get back to the boxes!!!!!

A sad day ---the end of an era

Well this was a really sad day for me. My faithful Big Shot has died!
After many years of extensive use it has finally stopped working. It started to make a grinding sound when you turned the handle, the handle then got harder to turn and finally the handle stopped turning altogether.
Michael took it apart , as you can see, cleaned it and put it back together. But, unfortunately it is beyond repair.
I can't bear the thought of throwing away my trusty friend so it will take its place on top of my wall units in the kitchen so that I can regularly look at it with fondness.
Fortunately for me I sell Sizzix products so I have "bought" a new Big Shot from myself!!. My new friend and I have already spent many happy hours together. Hopefully our friendship will last as long as the last one!!!!!

Sizzix Big Shot

have a good day

Do you like my Shaped card?

Another card from me today. I seem to be on a roll! I love the chance to make shaped cards. Don't you?
In fact this will by my question for my July Blog Candy "What is your favourite shaped card?". I will put that up tomorrow, hopefully! Just need to sort out what the candy will be!
On this card I have used

• a Go Kreate large die -  XXL Square Frilly Frames #1
• Martha Stewart Punch - Scallop Dot
• Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
• stamp - Paper Make Up Stamps
• Spellbinders - Nestability

I have made my Totally Gorjuss DT card for Saturday. Do check back on Saturday to see it and to join in our challenge. I have also made 5 "Thank you" Bridesmaids cards for Emma.
Now I really do need to tidy up
Enjoy your afternoon
If you can do leave a comment as I really do love to hear from you
