Wedding blog candy - to celebrate my daughters wedding

This is a sticky post

Hi there
just 2 more days to go to Emma's wedding. So I thought what can I do for all my blogging friends. I know I will put up some blog candy.
So please enter and you could win this gorgeous Lily of the Valley Wedding stamp. In fact it is the same stamp I used on Emma;s Invites. ( it isn't  the "actual" stamp,. This is a brand new one!!!!)

To stand a chance of winning all you have to do is
  1. Become a follower ( if you haven't already)
  2. Advertise it on your blog
  3. Leave a comment about something to do with a wedding. It could be something happy, strange, your wedding or someone else's. I will pick out my favourite story.
So do have a go.

This candy will end on 31st July 2011

Hi
What a great day we had on Saturday. The weather was perfect, the setting was gorgeous, the guests looked wonderful and the Bride, Emma looked beautiful.
Everyone enjoyed the day and it was great that there were no problems along the way. However I did cry all the way through the service!
My sister made the cupcakes ( Ruthies Cupcakes) , my friend Tracey did the flowers, ( Flowers from the Heart)
And I of course made all the invites, favour Boxes, place cards, Post Box and Table Plan.

These are just some of the photos I took I hope you like them.
Hugs

Hi everyone
It is busy here. The wedding is tomorrow and we have bridesmaids, beast man, ushers here, with more bridesmaids to come. We are having a Pizza and wine evening. Not sure how many are stopping the night. It is 8.30 pm and I have still to colour my hair ( too many grey hairs apparently) and check all the beads are okay on Emma's dress.
Fortunately one of the Thank you Bridesmaid cards fits the bill for this week at Totally Gorjuss this week. it is our new challenge tomorrow - Punch and die. So get out your punches and dies and starting making those cards. Our sponsor is The Hobby House. I am posting this early in case my scheduled posting doesn't work. Don't forget to enter my Wedding blog candy . You can do it here.
Thanks for the wedding stories people have already left. it is going to be difficult to pick a winner!
Will post pics of the wedding on my blog as soon as I can. I hope you will have a look
Have a great weekend

Wedding #1 Pie boxes, invites etc - go green!

Here is a picture of one of the pie boxes I made for Wedding #1. Kate wanted these for the guests to take home some wedding cake
9 Pie boxes make up a whole cake If any one is interested I sell the box blanks, all cut and scored ready for you to decorate £7.99 + p&p for 9 boxes - enough to make a whole cake- just email me)
Here is how they started off

These are some of the invites I made

As a surprise I included two boxes that I put the invites in. I thought Kate could use the boxes for her acceptance cards or any little souvenir from the wedding.
This is how the favour boxes started off. you can see the finished products if you click here

Well that is it for Wedding #1. I have nearly finished wedding #2, Emma's. I have nearly finished the 90 place cards and I just have the Table Plan to do.

I hope you have liked looking at this and hope you will like what I did for Emma's to. I will post these later this week
have a good day

Apologies if you have seen this before

I was looking through some old pics of cards I had made and came across this one  made for a teacher who retired last year. I can't remember if I did a blog post on this before so If I did, Apologies
The image was one I downloaded and then I made the image bigger ( the card size was 8x8). I also decoupaged it.
I hope you like it.
Tomorrow I will show the table plan I have completed for Wedding #1
