Hobbycraft demonstration

Just a quick post to say I am demonstrating a Hobbycraft next weekend ( 8th, 9th October )between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm at the Bentley Bridge, Wednesfield, Wolverhampton Hobbycrafts store. The Theme is Autumn cards and scrap booking

I wonder which one she will choose?

I was asked to make a 45th Wedding Anniversary card for a friend to give to her husband. He loves fishing. I wasn't sure which way to go with so I made 2 ( so far!)

I have said if she isn't keen on either of these I will try again.

Personally I prefer the blue, silver and white one. What about yoju?

One of the girls at Michaels work is getting married on Saturday and I was asked to make  card for everyone to sign.

So,I came up with this one. I just used a variety of dies, Nestabilities, Cheery Lynn and Die-Namics and some gems and pearls.

As the weather is glorious here I am off out into the garden. It is about time I did some work out there!!!

  I met up with some ladies again,Angie and her neice,  Brenda, Lynne, Jacqui ( who made and gave me the most gorgeous LOTV tag ....I will treasure it!). I never got to meet up with Vicky although she did come to the stand..we were busy!

Totally Gorjuss DT card - birds of a feather and my candy winner!

Coiled wire bracelet..... unbreakable!!!!!

Hi everyone
I have been busy making tiaras and other jewellery recently.
Here is a coiled wire (memory wire)  bracelet I made with green and earthtone beads.

Working in a school I found I had a lot of broken bracelets, the kids LOVE to pull on them!!!

This type of bracelet is virtually unbreakable and one size fits all

Little Claire - black and white

A little Mo Manning for you

Good evening everyone
I hope you are all well. It has been a lovely day here in Wolverhampton.

Tonight I am showing you this card I made using a Mo Manning stamp I recently bought. I used a couple of Nestie dies, some flowers from Wild Orchid and a seam binding bow and Voila! ( didn't realise I speak French did you?!!!!!)

I have some card to show later in the week. I'm off to watch X Factor. I taped it earlier

This is my VERY PLAIN!!!!!! DT card for Totally Gorjuss this week. I have been busy visiting sick friends and school has kept me busy so I haven't had a great deal of time. Lily of the Valley boys card

Here is a card I have made using this gorgeous Lily of the Valley stamp "sailing" It has been ages since I made a little boys card and I loved making this one.
When I saw this image it reminded me of my son when he was little! He is now nearly 21. So making this card brought back lovely memories for me

The buttons were made with a MS punch. It cuts and embosses the button.

I have decorated the inside of the card to match.
I think I will make a few more boy cards. It is a nice trip down memory lane!

Distressed elegance

 Good evening to all
I have spent much of the day visiting 2 friends who are ill. They both have very positive attitudes and a VERY strong faith which is helping them and their families and friends through this difficult time. I have others yet to visit and take cards to. Here is one I made that I think will be suitable. You don't always want character images on cards or flowers for men

I made this card using a Sizzix embossing folder. I added tiny gem stones to parts of the embossed image.
