Distressing and embossing

I was asked by my daughter to make  a card for a girl who is leaving work.

Instead of the usual "cute" image I decided on a completely different look. I embossed with white embossing powder several of the floral aspects then stamped them again with Adirondack inks.

I used my new "Word Play" TH die to cut out the letters.
I hope she will like it. I enjoyed making this card and will definitely be making more

Hugs Sarah x

  5. OH MY! THAT'S A MASTERPIECE. Even the backdrop you used to photograph it on is classy. I have to keep going back for another peek. SIGH.

I must ask one question - were you thrilled with your creation?

  6. This really is gorgeous. Did you distress the card first, stamp with the dark color, emboss with white embossing powder and then stamp again with white Adirondack ink? Where do you get Adirondack inks? Hugs, dj
