Natalie at Chi Chi Memories sent me this lovely image which you can get here:

Instead of making a card I thought I would make a gift bag, or very fancy sandwich bag!!
I coloured the image with Promarkers matted it onto some cardstock with the corners punched with MS punch. The top of the bag is cut from a Sizzix die and folded in half and then I attached 2 Hearts cut from the Sizzix Primitive hearts die.
I hope you like this idea

Small gift bag
Emma and I recently made a necklace and matching ear rings for a friend. I decide it would be nice to give them to her in a little gift bag. So out came one of my Sizzix dies and I made this little bag with the scalloped edge. The leaves were made from a punch and the flower from my stash. Finally i tied a ribbon around the top to hold it in place. Cute?

Totally Gorjuss DT card - Wings
A good morning to all of you. It is a new challenge at Totally Gorjuss today and we want to see WINGS. The DT have done great cards, yet again.
I have used my LOTV fairy stamp. She is coloured with Promakers and thenIi have used some Stickles. When you catch the light right she really glistens. I have also used my MS punches. I hope you like her and look forward to your entries.

A girl can't have too many handbags!
I was watching Create and Craft this morning (Shock, Horror) and they had Polka Doodles on. Now I don't know the ladies name but she showed a handbag made out of a template on her CD. It was lovely. Then it made me think, I have a Sizzix DL die of a layered banner. This looked the same shape as the panels in her bag. The largest part of the die looked the same shape as the panels in her bag. So I got out my die and cut out some of the shapes with some Basic Grey papers I had. I creased the outer edge of the two long sides and folded the scored bits outwards. Then I stuck them together. My tape didn't hold too well so I ended up stapling it in some parts( Don't look too closely)
For the handle I cut 4 hinges from my Tm Holtz Hardware Findings die. I glued to together and then a brad to attach it to the bag itself. The Banner die automatically cut some holes in the banner shapes so I threaded some thin ribbon through it. I would have used brown ribbon but unfortunately I tidied up. Fatal! It always means I lose things for months!!!
Any way here is the end result.
Please remember it is only a quick make so please don't be too critical. It took me about half an hour to make.
This bag could be made for real if you used material as the die will cut through material too.
Have a good evening

Sketch Saturday card
At last I have had the chance to do some challenges. Here is the card I have made for Sketch Saturday
I have coloured a Hanglar and Stanglar image with Copics. The papers are the new Hamstead collection by Papermania. These are Linen effect and are Gorgeous!. The other cardstock is from a DCWV stack, some of which I have embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The loopy border is Martha Stewart ( well not her literally!) The sentiment is from Cardwork crafts.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you get the chance to leave a comment.

Card Collection that supports Ovarian Cancer
I was so thrilled to find that I had received an award from Rachel at Queen La Rubba. Thank you. I was surprised to receive it. If you have never visited Rachel's blog, you MUST!!!!!
Now I must send it to 12 other crafters,. This is the hard bit and because I really can't single out 12 bloggers I am sending it to ALL of you.Enjoy
Today in Card Club we had an easy session. I bought the La Patisserie Deluxe Card Collection with Donation to Charity, in this case Ovarian Cancer. The cards are very easy to put together. I just felt it was a way of helping research into this awful disease that is never really spoken about and doesn't get the same coverage as say Breast Cancer and yet about 4,000 women die needlessly from it every year! The kit cost £14.99 + £2.99 p.p.
Each lady made 3 or 4 cards. I made these 6 cards and there is enough left to make another 20 cards!
I hope you like them

Totally Gorjuss DT card #31
Well it is challenge #31 at Totally Gorjuss this week. And we want Bling, Bling, Bling!!!!!So Bling it on!!!!!!!
The DT have done some great cards so check them out
I have used an image sent to me by my blogging friend Samantha. Hi Sweetie/ The lacey ribbon is also from her. I have used papers from my stash. The hearts are from my new Sizzix die Primitive hearts. These are a fantastic shape and can you believe they are now discontinued. A big mistake I think. You can buy it here. I cut the hearts from matboard and coloured them with 3 shades of Promarkers. The image was edged with a Martha Stewart punch. Finally I added gems to the flower centers, loopy bits on the image and on the heart. By the way the gems were rhinestones which I coloured yellow with my Promarkers. I look forward to reading your comments if you have the time
Have a lovely Saturday

However I have made the card for next weeks Totally Gorjuss challenge so I can't show it until Saturday
This morning I am showing a card I made for Papertak Weekly - say it with flowers. I Have used the super Sweet Pea stamp I won as blog candy from another great blogging friend, Angela. I have made an easel card and covered it with papers from Papermania. The frame is cut from a Sizzix die, as are the leaves. The shape on the base is the "sign" part of the Tim Holtz hanging sign die and the flowers Wild Orchid crafts.

Totally Gorjuss DT card #30
I can't believe we are on week 30 of the Totally Gorjuss challenge blog. It has been great to see so many of you entering with your fantastic projects.
The theme we have this week is" circles". The DT have really excelled this week so make sure you check them out.
For my entry I have made a wall hanging. The scalloped circle is from the Papermania Back to Basics chipboard covers. I have covered it with paper from the Henbury Lane collection. I have sanded it and roughed it up a bit to give it a bit of a vintage feel. It has then been edged with silver pen. The image is Sweet Pea stamps which was part of the candy I won from the lovely Angela.http://inmyquiettime.blogspot.com/
I have coloured it with Promarkers, added the Gem swirl and finally threaded some ribbon for it to hang from.
What do you think?
I look forward to your comments

Little box using Chi Chi Memories stamp
You know how my dad and then my mum have been ill?. Well today I took my son, Daniel to the Doctors and he has Tonsilittis!!!!! I wonder who will be ill next!!!!
Here is a little gift box I made using one of my Sizzix dies. I should get my order of dies today and will post them in my side bar if you would like to order any. Payment is by Paypal
I cut the box from chipboard and covered it with Tim Holtz papers. The "metal" edges are silver card cut with Sizzix photo corners die. The image is Chi Chi memories Flower babies which you can get here http://www.chichimemories.com/digital-stamp-set---baby-flower-collection.html
I added a piece of velcro to the lad so that I can close it and some spotty ribbon. Because it is made with chipboard the box is quite sturdy. I have coloured the image with grey Promarkers

Update on my Dad and Sketch Saturday challenge
We visited mum and dad on Sunday. Dad is still not well at all. Although he looks a lot better his breathing is the worst I have ever known. After that week in hospital and being told he has had Ecoli for 15 years(!) (It wasn't picked up until this recent stay in hospital), he has had a bad chest infection. Mum has also the same and she says it is the worst she has ever had. She too is on antiibiotics. Lets hope they both start to pick up soon.
What an interesting sketch at Sketch Saturday challenge. I have used one of my new Whiff of Joy stamps from the Get Well collection. I have actually made this card for someone I know who has just had a hip reoplaced. I know that the bandage on the image is NOT on the hip but It's close. Good thing I am not a Doctor isn't it?!
I also used the lovely K and Co Baby papers. The lace I bought from Hobbycrafts. It didn't stick successfully with tape so I used PVA glue. I think it is quite a nice cheery card. Hope my friend will like it too.

My don't these weeks go by quickly!
It's Saturday so that means there is a new challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week we want your cards to be "Pink and Green". Now I'm afraid this card is very plain and boring as I seem to have lost my creative juices!!!
But do check out the DT cards as they are all great
And do check my blog on Monday as I will be posting my first DT card for Chi Chi Memories. I do hope Natalie likes what I have done with her images
