Wear a hat to school Day

What a fantastic time I had last night at The Osmonds concert. We had Meet and Greet tickets, so we met the brothers , had photos with them and watched as they went through a sound check. We were 3 rows from the front , right in the middle of the row. FANTASTIC!!!!  I felt like a teenager all over again

Today was "wear a hat to school day". I chose to decorate my hat with what I am famous for, well at school anyway, flowers. I even walked down the road with it on.

Off to see The OSMONDS!!!! My card for them

 Oh I am so excited. I am off to see the Osmonds at Birmingham Symphony Hall tonight. I have Meet and Greet tickets . I am 3 rows from the front. It is their last UK tour ever. I have been a huge Osmond fan since I was 11, so 40 years!!!!!!1

I have my camera ready so hopefully I will have some great photos to show you tomorrow

I know it sounds cheesy but I have made a card for them. Whenever I see them on TV I can't help but smile. Their songs bring back so many lovely memories for me

4oth Anniversary card....and what do you think of the new Blogger~~!!##!!

This was the other card choice I made for my friend who requested a Ruby Anniversary card.
She chose yesterdays card although she did like both.

What do you think of this new Blogger? I don't like it at all. I clicked on something thinking it was a preview and suddenly everything is changed for good! Why do they have to change things. If it isn't broken.......

Modern Ruby Anniversary card

 I was asked by a friend to make a Ruby Anniversary card. As usual I made more than one for her to choose from. This is the one she chose.

The hearts are cut from mountboard which I painted with red acrylic paint and then with a layer of fine crackle glaze.
Part of the card is embossed and distress ink was used.

Spots and Stripes for Totally Gorjuss

Oh I am running late. I should have posted this this morning!
Thank you for all your well wishes about my hand. It is a bit bruised now and still quite tender but I can carry on as normal. No getting out of the housework after all!!!

 I have used a Kenny K image. Because of my hand I couldn't do anything too extravagant so kept it quite simple.

As usual the TG girls have excelled themselves and do check out the new Winners Blinkie that our very own Samantha has designed for us

The lovely silver edging is cut from a die I bought from the NEC.

Our sponsor this week is the really wonderful LOTV. I should have used one of their stamps really considering how many I bought at the NEC!!!!!

NEC and my injury!

Well there was nothing for me to demo at the craft show this time so for the first time in ages I went as a customer. What a great time I had. I watched other people doing demo's. I really enjoyed that and learnt loads of tips and techniques. And I did a bit of shopping too!

I wont say HOW MANY LOTV stamps I bought but lets just say I will be busy for a few weeks.

In fact I bought lots of stamps and some great new dies too and some Sparkle paste which I am going to attempt to use. It looked easy when it was demonstrated. Famous last words.

And I also bought ( a bit too many!) beads.

I had a great surprise when I heard someone call out my name and saw it was my Totally Gorjuss team mate Marianne and her friends. Hope you enjoyed the day Marianne.

I was back in work today but had an accident....opening a door!!!!!!!

The fire door is heavy and I put some force on the handle to open it. As I did I felt a "snap" in my hand. Down the middle of palm I saw a thick, swollen and hard line of blue. My hand started to sweat and my fingers tinkled and felt very tight. I was sent to hospital where the Dr said I had pulled the muscle away
from the bone and broken a vein. He said it will be painful for about a week and could get quite bruised. I need to rest it and take painkillers. I am gutted as it means I wont be able to do any housework!!!!!(LOL)

However I did mange to make 2 cards when I got back home. I will post these later. Nothing stops me crafting!

GOAL!

 I was asked by someone I work with to make a card for a 13 year old boy who loves football. I made 3 cards. This was one of them. I will post the other 2 later. Then you will have to guess which one she chose!

Can anyone help me?

I started a new blog Craftallday.blogspot.co.uk last month and have 71 followers. However someone tried to join this morning and said that the followers bar with all my followers pictures has gone!

On my blog it now says

We're sorry...
This gadget is configured incorrectly. Webmaster hint: Please ensure that "Friend Connect Settings - Home URL" matches the URL of this site.

I have tried to connect to Google Friend but just don't know what to do. As you can see from this blog I still have all my followers showing and people can still add their names to my followers list.

Plague of frogs

Every year at this time our garden turns into Little Egypt ( remember the Bible story of the 10 plagues....the one about the frogs?)

Well we have hundreds of them in our pond and they are a noisy bunch too.
