Update on my Dad and Sketch Saturday challenge

We visited mum and dad on Sunday. Dad is still not well at all. Although he looks a lot better his breathing is the worst I have ever known. After that week in hospital and being told he has had Ecoli for 15 years(!) (It wasn't picked up until this recent stay in hospital), he has had a bad chest infection. Mum has also the same and she says it is the worst she has ever had. She too is on antiibiotics. Lets hope they both start to pick up soon.

What an interesting sketch at Sketch Saturday challenge. I have used one of my new Whiff of Joy stamps from the Get Well collection. I have actually made this card for someone I know who has just had a hip reoplaced. I know that the bandage on the image is NOT on the hip but It's close. Good thing I am not a Doctor isn't it?!
I also used the lovely K and Co Baby papers. The lace I bought from Hobbycrafts. It didn't stick successfully with tape so I used PVA glue. I think it is quite a nice cheery card. Hope my friend will like it too.

  2. Oh Sarah what a worry for you. I know what it is like when your parents are not well. Luckily both my parents are still doing great at 75 but my mother-in-law who lives with us has not been the same since her stroke last year, she is 83. I hope they both pick up very soon.
Love your card by the way, super cute image and as usual, great colouring.

Isn't it funny that no matter how old you children are, as soon as they start feeling bad all they want is Mom!! It's always Mom never Dad.
    Hugs:)
