Do you like my Shaped card?

Another card from me today. I seem to be on a roll! I love the chance to make shaped cards. Don't you?
In fact this will by my question for my July Blog Candy "What is your favourite shaped card?". I will put that up tomorrow, hopefully! Just need to sort out what the candy will be!
On this card I have used

Last of the commissioned wedding cards

 

 

 

 

 Here is the 3rd of the 3 commissioned wedding cards I was asked to make. I have used a Fizzy Moon Decoupage for the image and I went for an easel card. I do love these! I also made a box for it.

Update on my sister. i went to see her today. She is in a lot of pain. She bled badly after the op ( Tonsillectomy ). Her throat looks awful. Her tongue is also bruised and cut. She is having great difficulty eating and drinking. The doctors say she will get worse before she gets better!. So she is stopping with mum and dad who are taking good care of her and of course Big Sis ( that's me) was there this afternoon. She just hopes she is well enough to make the 100 cupcakes for Emma's favour boxes in 3 weeks time!!!!!

We are so proud of him. Great news!

Remember I asked my dear blogging friends to watch Daniels first 3 minute film he had done at Uni. So many of you kindly did. In fact he has had over 20,000 views ( not all from craft bloggers!!!!!)
I just heard this morning that he got the best marks possible for his first year. How wonderful is that. I now need to  fish out my Tim Holtz film strip die and Sizzix camera die to make a congrats card ( He is doing film production and media).
As so many of you have followed us with him on his course and sent lovely comments I thought i would let you know. Thank you for your support . I know he has appreciated this very much

We are in the process of setting up a web shop to sell Sizzix and Stix 2 Anything products, but it takes time and we are busy here at home at the moment too as Emma gets married in about 3 weeks.  So I have been busy behind the scenes making invites, favour boxes etc. I have also been doing another wedding ( for the same day) Invites, cake boxes, favour boxes, place settings etc. I am also busy making jewellery which has been selling well. My house looks like it has been burgled! All this activity I should be losing weight, but know I seem to be bigger than ever! Oh well you can't have everything..........although I will try!!!!!

My jewellery and card table at the school fete

have you noticed I always seem to be in the same position!!!!!!

Hello to everyone
What a busy day!
We had our school fete today. As I mentioned earlier this eek I have been making Jewellery and I had a stack of cards to sell. ( I left most of the cards at home!)
The fete started at 11.00am and yes you guessed it poured with rain.. My table was originally in the open but I was able to move to under this covering.
Considering the bad weather we had a reasonable turnout. My in laws all came with niece and nephew. We had a local Zoo bring some animals as well as a local radio station. Oh and we had a fire engine and some firemen too!
I sold about 10 cards and quite a bit of jewellery. So I was quite pleased with my 2 hours in the rain!
Also here is my Totally Gorjuss DT card for this week. We want to see ribbon and lace

Hanglar wedding card

 

 

Here is the 2nd of 3 commissioned cards for a wedding this weekend. I have used a gorgeous Hanglar wedding image. I have hardly used any colouring because the papers are so nice ( Papermania). I am quite liking this shape of easel card too.. The hearts were cut from Nesties and sanded and I added some small gems to hold back the easel. Finally I made a box to put the card in.

White on white wedding card

 

 

 

One of the girls who works with my husband and daughter is getting married in Saturday and I was asked to make a card for all the workforce to sign.
I love the idea of white on white and here is what I came up with. The border frame is a MS punch and the flowers are of course Wild Orchid

I am pleased with how it turned out. I hope they like it too

Necklace, bracelet and matching earrings

 

 

 

Here is a jewellery set I have recently made. The set comprises of a necklace, bracelet and dangling earrings. I have made quite a bit of jewellery recently so I will post some more over the week. We have our school summer fete this Saturday where I will have a table selling ( hopefully) some of my cards and jewellery. I don't know whether it will be very successful though.

We have a summer fete at school next weekend and I have been asked to do a stand with my cards and Jewellery. Not sure how it will do as I have found fetes notorious for being not good places for selling your work. What experiences have you had? I would love to hera from you or any tips you may have.

2 new cards and a winner!

I have 2 cards to show you today.
The first is for a lad who works with my husband who has sadly lost his grandfather. So I have made a very simple card. Nothing fancy.

The second card is for some friends celebrating their anniversary. Actually I am a week late!!!!!
