Had a busy afternoon sorting out the finer details for a friend whose wedding invites I am making. I am also making Favour boxes, cake boxes and place settings.
If any one knows where I can get 100 sheets of 12 x 12 textured mid green cardstock, can you please let me know.
I have made this easel card for the Whiff of joy challenge, which is to follow a sketch by the talented JaneI have used my new circle Nesties which I have distressed slightly. The image I have coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from my stash. I have made the flower using my new Marianne dies ( which I love. I have had all my ladies using them in card lessons). The centre piece of the flower was from The Hobby House. The leaves were made using the new Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves die which I then embossed. Finally I added some Organza ribbon.
Well the sun is out here. I must go and make the most of it

Hi Sarah
ReplyDeleteThis image really made me smile, took me back to my childhood. I was always a 'chesty' child - excuse the pun because nothings changed...oh dear, I'll shut up I'm digging myself in even deeper here. Sure you know what I was getting at and the vick and smelly capsule inhalers.
Your card, lovely, that image really is sweet.
If you are after that much and want Bazzil, Stampalot should be able to help. Give Janice a call and ask her what she got in stock, I think it comes in packs of 50 and they do a discount for every ten sheets you buy.

ReplyDeleteLove this card Sarah. Like everyone else, this image reminds me of childhood and Vicks vaporub slathered on my chest (and it always felt icy cold!) Your poinsettia is fab! I've seen the dies but not bought them but now you've made me want them too.
ReplyDeleteBlimey, your a glutton for punishment, that's a lot of work for you if you're making all the wedding stationary. It'll be extra strong coffee for you to keep you awake all night! Hope it all goes smoothly for you. As for card, apart from my usual bazzill supplier I have no idea, sorry.
Take care
Love Elaine xx
