My 5th post of the day for TGF 12 Days of sketches - day 5. Here i have used an Ian digital download. Because it's a male image I have gone for darker more masculine colours and have used card stock from the same DCWV pad that I used for the last 2 posts. Again I have coloured with Copics. I am happier with this card than I was for the one one I did for sketch 2.l
Well I had better go and cook some dinner now
See you

TGF 12 Days of Sketches - day 3
My 3rd post ( I really should be doing some housework!!) for TGF 12 Days of Sketches - day 3
Another lovely sketch but I really don't like my card at all. You know when you rush something and are just making it it for the sake of it. However it did give me an excuse to try out my new MS deep punch which came yesterday
TGF 12 Days of Sketches - day 2
Here is my 2nd entry following the sketch provided from TGF 12 Days of Sketches - day 2
I have used My Minds Eye papers and coloured Anya with Copics. I have also used an embossing folder and sle adhesive glitter paper from Hobbycrafts ( half price). The " hat pin" is from the floristry dept of the same shop.
Oops do you notice the deliberate mistake?
I have shadowed one side of Anya's clothing but the other side of her face!!!!!! Now she does'nt know if she is coming or going.

Hello on this cold afternoon.
The challenge over at Project Tuesday is to make a side step card and the challenge at Paperplay challenge is New Beginnings. It just so happens that I have made a side step card for a teacher at school who is leaving tomorrow as she is taking up a post at another school. She is famous for saying " You're a star" to people so I incorporated this into the card. The image is a Gorjuss Girl (do check out the Totally Gorjuss challenge blog) which I have coloured with Promarkers.
The stars have been cut out with a Sizzix die. The sentiment is computer generated.

Whiff of Joy # 58 - sparkle, sparkle, sparkle
It ages since I entered a Whiff of Joy challenge so here goes. The theme is sparkle, sparkle, sparkle. The image I have used is Lizzie with Muff which is coloured with Promarkers and layered on a couple of Nestie ovals. The papers are from my stash and the sparkle is Stickles which I have put onto the background paper and on the scallops of the Nestie shape and also on Lizzies muff, boots and cuffs. The sparkle doesn't show up very well on the photo but if you double click on the photo it will enlarge and you can see the sparkle much better. I'm really pleased with how this card has turned out.
Enjoy the rest of your day
